Southampton boss Nigel Adkins has been sacked on Friday afternoon, despite his side are unbeaten in four matches.
The official Southampton FC twitter announced: “Southampton Football Club has appointed Mauricio Pochettino as First Team Manager having relieved Nigel Adkins of his duties.”
